L’arcipelago di La Maddalena rappresenta una delle maggiori attrazioni della Sardegna e probabilmente dell’intero Mediterraneo. Vi accompagneremo tra le bellezze esclusive del Parco Nazionale per farvi trascorrere una giornata indimenticabile.

La nostra agenzia si trova nel centro storico di Palau, a pochi passi dal molo dove è ormeggiata la barca con cui fare il tour.

Nel 2015 ci siamo accorti che mancava qualcosa in questo tipo di servizio e che le altre compagnie facevano solamente trasporto alle spiagge, senza una vera guida turistica a bordo che potesse offrire informazioni precise, dettagliate e autentiche.
E’ così che inizia la nostra vocazione, quella di mettere il cliente in grado di poter fruire di un’esperienza completa, sia dal punto di vista visivo che dal punto di vista informativo. Tutto questo inquadrato da fatti storici studiati e raccontati da una guida appassionata che è nata e cresciuta in tali luoghi, dove nelle stesse acque ha imparato a nuotare, scalare rocce e tuffarsi. Sin da piccoli si era soliti uscire in barca con la famiglia per trascorrere quasi quotidianamente l’estate tra le magnifiche isole. Ci sentiamo molto legati a questo fragile territorio che ci preme conservare con la massima cura, rispettandolo dal punto di vista ambientale e soprattutto limitando al massimo l’impatto antropico.

Chi sono

Mi chiamo Kevin, sono nato in questa bellissima isola. Mia madre è sarda mentre mio padre, statunitense si è ritrovato a La Maddalena durante il servizio militare con la US Navy, poiché fino al 2008 l’isola di S.Stefano ospitava la base della marina americana.

Ho sempre abitato a Palau, porta di ingresso dell’arcipelago di La Maddalena, tranne che per un breve periodo di circa due anni in cui ho vissuto negli Stati Uniti e durante gli anni dell’università che mi hanno portato a vivere a Perugia, in Umbria, dove mi sono laureato in Scienze della Comunicazione. La Sardegna mi mancava sempre, durante gli anni vissuti fuori dall’isola, per questo ho deciso di ritornare dopo gli studi e vivere stabilmente qui. Ho quindi trasformato la mia passione per il mare, il gusto dell’esplorazione in una professione, dedicando allo stesso tempo studio e ricerche alla Storia delle Fortificazioni Militari sulla terraferma e sulle isole.

Ho iniziato a lavorare nell’ambito turistico durante i periodi di vacanza dalle scuole, già dal 1996.
Prima nei campeggi, poi negli alberghi.
Nel 2010 sono stato assunto presso l’Ufficio del Turismo di Palau e lì ho proseguito il servizio di informatore per 4 anni. Ho deciso poi di trasformare il mio sogno in realtà ed aprire l’agenzia di escursioni Sardinia Island Tours di cui attualmente sono titolare.
Ho sempre amato il tipo di vita che si conduce in Sardegna: semplice, sana, all’aria aperta. Gli inverni sono miti e la natura si presenta in tutta la sua incomparabile bellezza. Il cibo è autentico, l’aria è nitida. C’è tantissimo da scoprire ed esplorare..
